Week one of Zappa Plays Zappa is complete, and the shows were a blast! It is such an honor to play this music with these players.

We started on Tuesday in Rhode Island and worked our way west. Below are a few pictures from the shows.

Saw ZpZ Tonight at St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu in Québec…excellent performance on every aspect and jaw dropping on Black Page ! Not that easy to replace two drummer in Roxy & Elsewhere…you pass the test alright in More Trouble Every Day….

Ryan. We talked very briefly after the Pindakaas show at the Melkweg. You talked to my son as well. We both feel you did an awesome job that night. Thank you again for your time. Hope the UK shows are a big success. Hope to see you again soon. FZ rules, but Rush ain’t that bad either, “Bobby”. 😉

    • Hi Rob! Thanks for the message, it was great meeting you and your son in the Milky Way!! That was a really fun show. Pindakaas!!!!

Thanks, Ryan. Last Friday I was playing in Germany at a small bikerfest. Lots of fun. Hope you enjoy the Scandinavia shows at least as much. See you next year I hope.

Silly tight gig tonight here in Gothenburg! Would have thanked you in person, but you and Kurt hadn’t shown up yet at the signing table when I got to the front.
Anyway, awesome stuff! You guys honoured Frank well.

    Best regards,
    Einar
